PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head structure of an internal combustion engine for improving the cooling effect. SOLUTION: The wall thickness of a valve seat with an intake valve and an exhaust valve to be seated thereon in the valve moving direction is reduced, and the wall thickness of a bottom wall of a cylinder head to partition a water chamber to store cooling water in the cylinder head and a combustion chamber is reduced thereby. The wall thickness of a wall to partition the water chamber to store cooling water in the cylinder head between the exhaust valves and an exhaust port is reduced while ensuring the thickness to withstand thermal stresses. In addition, the wall thickness of the wall to form the exhaust port is reduced so as to expand the water chamber to store cooling water in the cylinder head between the exhaust valves, and the cooling effect of the bottom wall of the cylinder head bottom wall to form a combustion surface between the exhaust valves is improved by increasing the flow rate of cooling water per unit time.
