RETURN FUEL COOLER FOR DIESEL ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a return fuel cooler which efficiently cools return fuel in a relatively simple means in a diesel engine employing an accumulator fuel injection system using a common rail. SOLUTION: The return fuel cooler 1 is disposed on the way of a return fuel pipe of the diesel engine employing the accumulator fuel injection system using the common rail. The body part is constituted of a meandering tube 2, and has a meandering tube part 2-1 of a horizontal surface shape and a meandering tube part 2-2 of a tilting surface shape continuing from the meandering tube part 2-1 and standing obliquely. Air cooling is performed by making the return fuel flow into the meandering tube. The meandering tube part of the horizontal surface shape and the meandering tube part of the tilting surface shape are disposed along an underfloor shape of a vehicle and before the rear wheels under the underfloor of the vehicle.
