PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition storing device partitioning a room of a house or the like, at the same time, enabling an article to store, economizing a space and carrying out good convenient work. SOLUTION: The partition storing device 31 includes an upper rail placed on a head 3, a lower rail laid on a sill 33, at least one plate-like partition plate 34 slidably mounted on the upper rail and the lower rail and partitioning the room and at least one strut 35 placed on a wall section 47 of the partition plate 34 capable of detaching a movable shelf storing the article or a hanger bracket and, at the same time, adjustably supporting the height.
