PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely judge shortage of refrigerant in a short period of time after starting a compressor at the time of a hot gas heater mode. SOLUTION: The compressor is actuated (S140) by computing pressure differentialΔPd of high pressure of a hot gas heater cycle at the time of starting a heater mode and high pressure of the hot gas heater cycle at a point of time after specified time from the time of starting the heater mode, judging the case when this pressure differentialΔPd is within a specified range as a normal state of the refrigerant (S160). In the meantime, the compressor is stopped (S180) by judging the case when the pressure differentialΔPd is out of the specified range as a shortage state of the refrigerant and turning off an electromagnetic clutch.
