PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform inkjet recording with a high energy utilization efficiency. SOLUTION: The inkjet head performing recording on a recording medium by imparting the energy of a surface acoustic wave to ink and flying the ink comprises a surface acoustic wave propagating body, a plurality of surface acoustic wave generating means arranged on the surface acoustic wave propagating body, ink ejecting parts arranged alternately on the surface acoustic wave propagating body while being aligned with the plurality of surface acoustic wave generating means, a surface acoustic wave amplifying means interposed between the surface acoustic wave generating means and the ink ejecting part while being aligned therewith, and a means for supplying ink to the ink ejecting part.
