PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily carry out removal of grain culms by ensuring an operation space when removing these grain culms clogged in a receiving part between a threshing depth-controlling and conveying apparatus and a threshing feed chain by manual labor. SOLUTION: In a combine harvester in which the threshing depth-controlling and conveying apparatus 33 is constituted of a plant foot conveying chain 33a which clamps the plant foot of the grain culms and is vertically rotatable around a conveying starting end side, a clog detection means 35 for detecting clogging of the grain culms between the plant foot-conveying chain 33a and a threshing feed chain 19 is provided and the plant foot-conveying chain 33a is moved in response to a thinly threshing direction based on clog detection of the grain culms by the clog detection means 35 during reaping operation.
