ANTIBODY AND INHIBITOR, AND METHOD AND KIT FOR TRANSFORMATION USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibody and an inhibitor suppressing immune response to a specific virus by inhibiting the production of a type I interferon induced by a virus double-stranded RNA and to provide a method for transformation and a transformation kit improving the transformation efficiency without raising the infection efficiency of a virus vector. SOLUTION: The antibody is against human Toll-like receptor 3. The inhibitor contains the antibody inhibiting the production of the type I interferon in a cell expressing the Toll-like receptor 3 recognizing the double-stranded RNA and producing the type I interferon, especially a monoclonal antibody against the human Toll-like receptor 3. The transformation is carried out by infecting the cell with a recombinant RNA virus vector in which the target gene is inserted in a state of inhibiting the production of the type I interferon by using the inhibitor.
