PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device of an in-cylinder injection type internal combustion engine for suitably suppressing degradation of a combustion state caused by the cleaning of an engine valve while cleaning the engine valve with injected fuel. SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve 35 of a gasoline engine 1 is disposed so as to collide a fuel against an umbrella part of an intake valve 12 by injecting the fuel in a predetermined fuel collision period. An ECU 50 sets a fuel injection timing by using an operation map M1 for regular injection except when the engine is cold, and an operation map M2 for cold injection when the engine is cold, respectively. The operation map M1 for regular injection sets the fuel injection period to permit the fuel injection in the fuel collision period, and the operation map M2 for cold injection sets the fuel injection period so as to avoid the fuel collision period.
