t is disclosed herein a method of packaging firewood. According to this method, firewood (oak, beech wood etc) is subjected to special treatment for commercial purposes, and is presented as a standardized and individualized commercial product coming in precise weight and length. After being cut out at the desired dimensions, the firewood is encircled by a plastic hoop, and tightly wound in a special transparent heat shrinking film to form an embossed package whereon a handle should be positioned for convenient carrying. The advantage of the invention is that the consumer knows in advance the dimensions of the wood he buys, and that he can carry it easily by way of the handle provided, without being dirtied; the form of the packaged product and the packaging method whereto this last is subjected make the final product be aesthetically attractive. |
