Manufacture of a surgical tube (7), comprises a coil-like reinforcement (4) between the inner layer (2) and outer layers (11,15). (4) is more firmly bonded to the inner layer, allowing one end of the tube to be grasped and pulled out of the tube, with the inner layer areas covering the reinforcement. The length pulled out is then cut from the remaining tube leaving a spiral internal groove. |
