An aeroplane seat 1 is provided with a rocking facility (6,10; 8,12) whereby the position of the seat from the upright position is changed by pivoting the whole of the seat about a virtual axis (14), the seat support portion (4) and the seatback (2) remaining in a prescribed relationship one to the other and being of low-loft. The low-loft material may be a web of woven fibre. |
