<p>A controlled access dispensing unit (10) arranged to permit selective access to supply items within a portion of the dispensing unit (10). Preferably, the dispensing unit (10) includes a cabinet (12) arranged to hold a plurality of supply items. An enclosure assembly (14) desirably includes a first panel (16) and a second panel (18) positioned in a plane substantially parallel to and aligned with a plane defined by the first panel (16).
