The spectacle frame (1), comprising a top piece (2) with lens holders (3) and a nose bridge (4), has the lenses (6) held in place by flexible wires or filaments (8) in peripheral grooves (7). The wires or filaments are connected by means of anchoring elements (10) on their ends to hooks on the frame's lens holders. Each anchporing element is in the form of two side plates with a transverse bar to engage with the hook and a gripping section with a chicane to hold the end of a wire or filament.
