FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed method can be used in designing brake system for mobile means. According to invention, instead of impulse change of state of working medium to regulate torque on drum of brake mechanism, method is used at which liquid in closed volume remains motionless and its state is changed owing to spring elastic force transmitted to liquid through motionless piston. Limitation and fixing of liquid value is provided owing to simultaneous stopping of movement of rod with auxiliary piston in master cylinder and rod with stop in control cylinder. Device implementing said method operates using ϕ-s diagrams making it possible to use 95% of adhesion coefficient (ϕx) in horizontal direction at emergency braking. EFFECT: provision of high braking efficiency at steady running, without skidding. 3 dwg |
