FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out polylocal fibula osteotomy. Fibula is subjected only to osteotomy at the level corresponding to paired bone osteotomy level in distal one-third. Dosed longitudinal distraction of selected fragments is carried out. Distraction rate is reduced at the end of elongation period. Concomitant deformity is removed at distraction rate reduction stage. Stable fibula fixation is carried out after having restored biomechanical axis and required shin length. ^ EFFECT: avoided premature fibula synostosis, contractures and pareses. ^ 1 dwg
