FIELD: measurement technology, spectral analysis of radio signals possessing considerable level f noises. SUBSTANCE: method of spectral analysis of signals makes it feasible to search for those frequencies of harmonics which best of all correspond to examined signal encoded with discretization frequency f1 = fd/N, by means of auxiliary harmonic signal of constant amplitude, frequency fd, where fd, is discretization frequency, and zero initial phase. Search for all frequencies of harmonics which most of all correspond to frequencies of examined signal is conducted and this compliance takes place when frequency of auxiliary signal is present in spectrum of examined signal. In this case amplitude and phase of harmonic of auxiliary signal is adjusted to examined signal in process of adaptation, that is, in process of selection of coefficients of adaptive filter through which sequence of readings of auxiliary signal is transmitted.
