FIELD: manufacture of engines; connection and disconnection f oil filter components. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes mounting cover in interior of oil filter housing followed by locking; first, flexible shoulder is made in upper portion of filter housing. Then, cover is mounted on inner part of housing in such way that it is supported by flexible shoulder and they are locked together at required interference, after which cover is locked in filter housing. Flexible shoulder is made at distance from end edge of housing corresponding to height of cover increased by height necessary for locking. Size of flexible shoulder is equal to 0.02-7.0 mm. It is made in form of groove directed inside housing of oil filter. Flexible shoulder may be also formed by making cylindrical part of housing of different internal diameters; internal diameter of upper part from end edge exceeds inner diameter of cylindrical part after flexible shoulder by 0.04- 14.0 mm. Locking is performed by rolling and fixation is performed by pressing-in. EFFECT: enhanced reliability; improved quality of filter. 3 cl, 3 ex |
