SUBSTANCE: invention describes method for preparing ecdysteroids and carbohydrates trimethylsilyl esters by interaction of (trifluoromethyl)- trimethylsilane as trimethylsilylating agent taken in the amount 1-3 mole-equiv. per each hydroxyl group of substrate. Reaction is carried out in the presence of tetrabutylammonium fluoride as a catalyst at temperature 0- 25 C for 2-30 min followed by isolation of the end product. EFFECT: simplified method, enhanced yield of end product.
