An anti-theft device for a separable steering wheel or a handlebar comprises a special shaped hard code bar, and an upper and a lower code sleeve for the steering wheel or the handlebar, wherein the special shaped hard code bar is axially provided with a special shaped groove in the lower end thereof, and a special shaped code on the outside surface thereof; the upper and the lower code sleeve are integrally fitted and are provided with a corresponding special shaped code in an axial through hole for the hollow sleeve body thereof; a limited pole which is inserted from the end of the lower code sleeve and projects out of the upper code sleeve, is provided in the hole of a steering connecting rod; a multi-hole code tooth sleeve is provided on the end of the steering connecting rod, which is engaged with the end of the code sleeve. When the code bar is inserted from the end of the upper code sleeve, the steering wheel or the handlebar comes into a normal operation condition. When take the code bar out of the through hole of the upper and lower code sleeve, the upper and lower code sleeve come into original condition that the upper and lower code sleeve can rotate with each other, and the steering wheel or handlebar comes into a non-operation condition. |
