The invention relates to a data interface for the interior space of a vehicle, which by means of a suitable control unit, can be also be used as an optical data interface for mobile electronic terminals and as a repeater for the transfer of signals between two or more mobile electronic terminals. The invention also relates to a vehicle fitted with the data interface and a data communication system for the interior space of vehicles which use the known data interfaces.
