METHOD FOR FORMING BARRIER RIBS OF PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL HAVING BARRIER RIBS FORMED BY THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method and a plasma display panel are provided to reduce manufacturing procedures, time and costs by forming barrier ribs through the use of the frame having a plurality of slits. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a step of fixing a lower glass(12) having a surface with a dielectric layer(12a) to an electromagnetic table(10), and fixing a frame(14) having slits to the lower glass; a step of depositing a paste(16) on the lower glass through slits of the frame; a step of drying the lower glass having the dielectric layer on which the frame and barrier ribs(20) are formed; a step of removing the electromagnetic table from the lower glass, attaching the electromagnetic table to the frame, and removing the frame; and a step of firing the barrier ribs so as to fix the barrier ribs on the dielectric layer of the lower glass.
