PURPOSE: A device for preventing counter-currents of a drain ditch is provided to decrease counter-currents of rain of a drainpipe laid under the ground when rain is overflowed out of the drain ditch and a manhole by a torrential rain and accordingly to reduce loss caused by flooding. CONSTITUTION: In a drain ditch(21) or the drain ditch of a manhole assembling a cover(22) to a sill(37) at a road surface(29) from a drainage canal(24) laid under the ground to a drain space(23), a device for preventing counter-currents of the drain ditch assembles a carrying bar(30) to the sill, and interlocks and assembles a support ring(28) fixed to a float tube(26) to a support column(25) fixed to the edge of the drain space. A packing(31) is formed to the sill of the carrying bar. The float tube is made from aluminum and coated with rubber and the upside of the float tube is formed into a convex surface. A lower side of the drain space is a wide areal space(27).
