PURPOSE: A vehicle remote control system using a mobile terminal is provided to enable a user to transmit various control signals to a vehicle located in a remote place by using the mobile terminal, thereby remotely controlling the vehicle and transmitting various alarm signals to the mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(A1) transmits a vehicle function control signal in short message type by using a mobile communication network, registers an ID of a data transceiving device(100) thereinto in order to transceive various alarm signals from the vehicle, and stores various function control data of the vehicle. The data transceiving device(100) interfaces the control data transmitted from the mobile terminal(A1), connected to an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(20) in order to transmit the alarm signals to the mobile terminal(A1), and has a data communication module. A mobile communication relay server(MDIS) relays various data between the mobile terminal(A1) and the data transceiving device(100), and transmits position information on the data transceiving device(100) to the mobile terminal(A1).
