PURPOSE: An anti-static tire is provided to spread out static electricity generated at a vehicle through the tire contacted with the ground over the ground by making a tread of the tire from silica rubber compositions of low conductivity. CONSTITUTION: An anti-static tire is composed of a tread(1), a sidewall(2), and a bead unit(3). The tread is made from silica rubber compositions. Half-finished tread is cut into pieces at regular intervals, each cut surface is coated with an adhesive agent(4) containing excellent conducting materials, and accordingly the tread is formed by adhering a plurality of pieces. The thickness of the coated part is about 5mm. The conducting materials contained in the adhesive agent are iron powders. Conducting materials are distributed over the whole section of the tire and, consequently, static electricity is prevented even in the wear of the tire.
