PURPOSE: Disorder of an elevator by a brake disorder of a winding machine or cutting of a rope is prevented by an operation of a solenoid. CONSTITUTION: A speed adjusting wheel(130) is wound with a speed adjusting rope in a central shaft of a frame. A trip lever(150,150') is installed in one side of the speed adjusting wheel. A ratchet(170) is interacted with the speed adjusting wheel. A rope fixing member(180) stops the speed adjusting rope when the ratchet is rotated with a stopping member(160,160'). An auxiliary wheel is interacted with the speed adjusting wheel. A detecting member is provided to detect rotation speed of the auxiliary wheel. A solenoid(230) is operated by a control circuit portion.
