PURPOSE: To provide a fault tolerant computer having a shortened stop time in the integration of a computing module separated from an operating state. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring means 700 monitors the matching of operation of processors 101, 102, 201, 202, 301, and 303 of a plurality of modules 100, 200, and 300. When the mismatch of the operation of a processor of any one module from the other modules is detected, an address storage means 701 records the access where the mismatch is detected and the addresses the processors of each module 100, 200 or 300 write-access thereafter. A data copy means 702 copies the data from the memories of the other modules only for the address stored in the address means 701 to the memory of the mismatched module.
