PURPOSE: An interactive electronic data exchange system is provided to enable a user to order something to drink or eat and to chat with other people using a computer installed on a in-store table, such a restaurant and a cafe. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises the computers(1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15) installed on the tables(2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16) inside a store such as a restaurant and a cafe. The computers(1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15) are connected over a network, and include the displays and the input devices for characters or multimedia. At least, one among the computers(1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15) is connected to a main server operated by a manager. The main server allots an ID to each computer enabling a user to access other computers by using the allotted ID, and includes a chatting operation program enabling the user to chat with others. If the chatting operation program is executed, a chatting window is displayed on a screen of each computer(1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15), and the user can input or browse a message in the chatting window. |
