METHOD FOR SERVICING IMAGE OF RECEIVING MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for servicing an image of a receiving mobile communication terminal is provided to transmit a desired motion picture or a still image of a caller to the receiving terminal, thereby replacing caller information with a concrete image or an advertisement for a receiver. CONSTITUTION: When a receiving call is processed(S10), a receiving MSC informs a receiving mobile communication terminal that an MARS service is activated(S12). The receiving mobile communication terminal operates in a ring-off mode(S14). An SMC transmits bearer data received to an MARS(Mobile Advertisement Service) in SMDPP type or TCP/IP type(S16). The receiving MSC transmits a motion picture of a still image of a caller to the receiving mobile communication terminal(S18). If the motion picture or the still image is completely transmitted(S20), the receiving mobile communication terminal transmits an alert information message to a receiving BSC(S22). The receiving mobile communication terminal displays the transmitted image, cancels the ring-off mode, and rings a receiving bell(S24), then processes the receiving call(S26).
