PURPOSE: A test apparatus for an air bag electronic control unit is provided to improve reliability of a test and to shorten a test time by precisely and finely control voltage and resistance. CONSTITUTION: A test apparatus includes an air bag electronic control unit(21) installed in a vehicle for controlling an air bag of the vehicle and a computer(23) connected to the air bag electronic control unit(21). The computer(23) has a test program therein. A resistance box(25) is connected to the computer(23). The computer(23) automatically adjusts micro resistance of the resistance box(25) so as to apply adjusted resistance to the air bag electronic control unit(21). A power supply(27) is connected to the computer(23) so as to be operated under the control of the computer(23). The resistance box(25) and the power supply(27) are connected to the computer(23) through a serial interface.
