PURPOSE: A device for creating a pseudo random code is provided to execute verification variously and effectively by utilizing a pseudo random code suggested in a standard model function verification of a microprocessor designed as an RTL level. CONSTITUTION: A stream number generator(201) outputs command stream numbers(b_num, e_num, m_num, and ls_num) corresponded to each command group based on a code size and four-probability information. A command stream generation unit(202) prepares a pseudo random code seed in each field with respect to each command code which constitutes a command stream of the command group. When a command stream of each command group is generated, the command stream generation unit(202) creates a field value in random in each field based on a corresponding seed and creates a command stream of each command group. A stream integration unit(203) integrates command streams of each command group created in the command stream generation unit(202). A shuffle unit(204) shuffles the integrated command stream. An address generation unit(205) receives the maximum and the minimum with respect to a memory access space of a pseudo random code to be created, creates a memory address for accessing a memory in random within the area, and outputs the memory address to the command stream generation unit(202). A branch offset deciding unit(206) decides a branch offset value of a branch command stream being output in the shuffle unit(204). A header generation unit(208) creates a header stream for identifying an initial environment setting of 'C' reference model and an RTL model being utilized in a reference model comparison method. An output file format unit(207) decides an output format using command streams being output through the branch offset deciding unit(206) and a header stream of the header generation unit(208).
