PURPOSE: A solenoid valve assembly for controlling gas supply by regulating gas and a method for opening and closing a main burner are provided to reduce power consumption by automatically operating for a long time with a low capacity battery, and to decrease cost by mounting the product easily. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve assembly comprises valves(S10,S20), solenoid valve bodies(S11,S21), positive and negative pole terminals(S12,S22), wire winding assemblies(S13,S23), E-type cores(S140,S240), I-type cores(S141,S241), springs(S15,S25), and brackets(S16,S26). The solenoid valve assemblies are placed in chambers(CH2,CH5), and closed normally in waiting to seal chambers(CH5,CH7) completely. Diaphragm assemblies are composed of diaphragms(D10,D20), springs(D12,D22) and diaphragm plates(D13,D23), and combined with chambers(CH3,CH6). The diaphragms are closed completely by the springs to restrict gas flowing between chambers.
