PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having a multi-method settlement unit is provided to selectively and compatibly execute price settlement for various settlement methods, such as an RF(Radio Frequency) method, an IR(Infrared Rays) method, a Bluetooth method, etc. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(1) having a multi-method settlement unit comprises a combichip(10) and an RF loop antenna(20). The combichip(10) is controlled through the CPU(2) of the mobile terminal. The RF loop antenna(20), connected with the combichip(10), transmits price settlement information between the combichip(10) and a reader(R) by contactless radio communication with the reader(R). Also the mobile terminal(1) comprises both an IR module(30) and a Bluetooth module(40) or either of them to transmit price settlement information between the combichip(10) and the reader(R) through the control of the CPU(2) by contactless radio communication with the reader(R). Judging whether the reader(R) is an RF reader(R1), an IR reader(R2) or a Bluetooth reader(R3), the mobile terminal(1) executes price settlement by using the RF loop antenna(20), the IR module(30) or the Bluetooth module(40) selectively.
