PURPOSE: A printing device is provided to prevent a nozzle from clogging and to reduce an amount of ink to be used by repeatedly performing printing actions while spraying a little amount of ink. CONSTITUTION: A printing device includes a printer head section(10), a switch operating section(20), a CPU(30), a timer(40), a relay terminal section(50), a DC motor(60), and a motor load section(70). The printer head section(10) has a plurality of heads. The switch operating section(20) has a power switch and a test printing switch. When a user pushes the test printing switch, the CPU(30) switches a switch connected to a terminal of the DC motor(60) to the motor load section(70) so that load of the DC motor(60) is applied to the motor load section(70). Thus, an encoder signal corresponding to an R.P.M and a distance of the DC motor(60) is transmitted into the CPU(30).
