PURPOSE: An electrodeless ultraviolet lamp is provided to achieve improved efficiency of the lamp and increase the strength of the ultraviolet ray emitted from the lamp. CONSTITUTION: An electrodeless ultraviolet lamp comprises a lamp tube(2); an external electrode(4) arranged at the outer surface around the end of the lamp tube; and a conductor coil(6) wound along the lamp tube, wherein the conductor coil has an end electrically connected to a power and the other end electrically connected to the external electrode.
