PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to prevent a large amount of particle materials from being discharged at a time through the muffler by preventing the particle materials from being deposited in the muffler. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a collecting housing(20) formed at the outlet end of an inlet pipe(7) of a muffler, which has a particle material collecting chamber(21) for collecting particle materials from the exhaust gas, wherein the collecting housing accommodates a certain part of the end of the inlet pipe; and a discharge pipe(22) which interconnects the bottom of the collecting housing and an outlet pipe(9) of the muffler so as to discharge particle materials from the particle material collecting chamber through exhaust pressure.
