METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DEHYDRATION OF WASHING MACHINE

PURPOSE: A dehydration control method for a washing machine is provided to reduce dehydration time and improve dehydration efficiency by regulating RPM(Revolution Per Minute) of a motor according to unbalance of the laundry in dehydrating. CONSTITUTION: A main microcomputer starts dehydration course by controlling a drive microcomputer and accelerates a motor(S31). The present RPM of the motor is compared with the first predetermined RPM(S32), and unbalance is measured with keeping the first predetermined RPM for the predetermined time(S33). RPM is set corresponding to the measured unbalance among the unbalance/ RPM table(S34). The motor is accelerated to the predetermined RPM, and dehydration course is performed for the predetermined time with the predetermined RPM(S35). Dehydration time is reduced, and dehydration efficiency is improved by setting RPM corresponding to unbalance in dehydrating.
