PURPOSE: Provided is a method for recycling a waste battery, which can produce lead powder and polypropylene(PP) from the waste battery by analyzing the waste battery efficiently. CONSTITUTION: The method for recycling the waste battery comprises the steps of: analyzing the waste battery of a car and extracting a lead plate; drying and heating the separated lead plate in a dry-heating device; grinding the dried lead plate in a grinder. A plastic cover of the battery, a plastic case, and etc. except the lead plate are recycled by passing through water via a grinder, collecting floating plastics on water, dewatering for 20 minutes, and then melt-injecting to make PP or PE. And a terminal connector is separated by hand to reuse as a material of lead refining.
