PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal having a wireless LAN function is provided to add the wireless LAN function to the mobile communication terminal, and to enable the mobile communication terminal to play a wireless LAN card role, thereby improving access convenience and reducing installation cost. CONSTITUTION: A main processor(100) controls overall operations of a terminal. A WLAN(Wireless LAN) processor(300) performs IP protocol and data conversion operations while servicing a wireless LAN by the main processor(100). A wireless transceiving unit(200) transceives data with a base station and a wireless LAN AP(Access Point) under control of the main processor(100) or the WLAN processor(300). The wireless transceiving unit(200) selects whether to transceive the data in wireless LAN method or PCS method or telephone calling method by mode selection of the main processor(100).
