The holding device comprises a belt (20,21) for holding the shoe on an equipment (2). A covering section (23) has a first longitudinal branch (60) which extends along the length of the belt. The covering section further comprises a transverse branch (61) which extends from the first longitudinal branch. Each transverse branch is at right angles to the first longitudinal branch.
