DEVICE FOR REMOVING SCALE IN DUCT

PURPOSE: A device for removing scale in a duct is provided to remove scale in the duct while an annealing furnace is operated. CONSTITUTION: A device for removing scale in a duct(10) comprises a foreign material-filtering part, a discharge part, and link units(30). The foreign material-filtering part comprises partitions(12) installed to the bottom of the duct across the duct; a pleat sheet(14) formed to the bottom surface of the duct in front of the partition; and electromagnets(16) installed to the lower part of the pleat sheet. Atmosphere gas of an annealing furnace is circulated through the duct. The discharge part comprises a body fixed to the lower part of an opening formed to the bottom of the duct between the pleat sheet and the partition, and an area shutoff roll(22) and a discharge roll(24) installed inside the body. The link units are installed between the sides of the area shutoff roll and the discharge roll and driving motors.
