PURPOSE: An eyesight protecting structure of a microscope is provided to prevent harmful light from penetrating into eyes by detecting the harmful light while a welding process is being carried out. CONSTITUTION: A microscope(1) is equipped with an eyesight protecting structure. The microscope(1) includes a working table(3) capable of adjusting a height thereof, an objective lens(4) and an ocular lens(5). A light-shielding kit(10) is detachably installed at an inner portion of the ocular lens(5). The light-shielding kit(10) has liquid crystal shutter units capable of shielding harmful light having predetermined wavelength, a driving circuit for driving the liquid crystal shutter units, a photo detector connected to the driving circuit for detecting light generated during a welding process, and a battery for supplying power to the driving circuit.
