PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire having the improved noise performance is provided to make the depth of kerfs of blocks having large, medium, and small sizes different, to enlarge rigidity difference of large and small blocks, and accordingly to expand a noise-dispersed area and reduce noise. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire having the improved noise performance is composed of a tread unit(1), a sidewall unit, and a bead unit. The tread unit is divided by a plurality of blocks(11,12,13) having different sizes, respectively. Depths(D1,D2,D3) of kerfs(111,122,133) formed to the blocks to the sizes of blocks are mutually different. The depth of the kerf formed at the large block is thinnest, the depth of the kerf of the middle block is deeper than the kerf of the large block, and the depth of the kerf of the small block is deeper than the kerf of the middle block.
