METHOD FOR PROCESSING SPECTACLE LENS

PURPOSE: A method for processing spectacle lens is provided to minimize the thickness and the weight of the spectacle lens by processing differently a left side, a right side, an upper side, and a lower side of the spectacle lens. CONSTITUTION: An area of a left side of a spectacle lens and an area of a right side of the spectacle lens are designed differently on basis of an optical focus by referring to an average value of the papillary distance of both eyes. An area of an upper portion of the spectacle lens and an area of a lower portion of the spectacle lens are differently designed on the basis of the geometric center and an edge process of the spectacle lens is performed. The thickness and the weight of the spectacle lens are minimized by polishing an unused side of the processed spectacle lens.
