PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high voltage cable for X-rays that has small electrostatic capacity and small outer diameter and is of light weight, and can be applied for a low exposure X-ray device of pulse-voltage drive type. SOLUTION: This is the high voltage cable 1 for X-rays that comprises a plurality of low-voltage A core wires 3 and a low-voltage B core wire 4 inside a high-voltage insulator 2. The plural low-voltage A core wires 3 are stranded together with an enclosure 5 and a pressing winding tape 6 is provided over its outer circumference, and then the low-voltage B core wire 4 made of a braided wire structure is provided over the outer periphery, and an inner semi-conductive layer 7 and the high-voltage insulator 2 are covered over the outer periphery.
