PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting switch sheet and a lighting unit with the same, which are inexpensive and made of less components and simple structure, for lighting operation parts of various electronic equipment. SOLUTION: A plurality of holes 11A are made on a sheet 11 and approximately dome-shaped movable contacts 13 are embedded in the holes 11A. Beneath a light-transmitting base material 21, a light-transmitting electrode layer 22, a light emitting layer 23 and a back electrode layer 25 are layered. Through holes 20A having diameter slightly smaller than the movable contacts 13 are formed on an EL element 20 above the movable contacts 13. Pasting this element on the upper surface of the sheet 11 provides an inexpensive lighting switch sheet 30 composed of less components, having a simple structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
