PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent transmission/response system in which a service server confirms information desired by a consumer such as merchandise selection, merchandise purchase and facilities by using authentication information which is not a burden to the consumer and the service server immediately responds to the information requested by the consumer. SOLUTION: This information transmission/response system of the service server is managed under authentication information transmitted from the consumer, and the service server distributes optimum information desired by the consumer by retrieving a database. In addition, the service server can immediately distribute information desired by the consumer's information terminal anytime and anywhere by using a portable telephone with a mail function and the Internet connection function as an information terminal.
