PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory rewriting device, a memory rewriting method, an information processing device, an information processing system, and a storage medium for writing newly received data in a rewritable ROM storing a communication program itself and a communication interruption vector designating it without expanding an assignable address range by using a communication program within the address range of a RAM and performing normal communication even if rewriting is carried out during communication. SOLUTION: A rewriting mode of communication core in the rewritable ROM is set, a copy storage area matching a core storage area of the communication core information is set inside the RAM, and copied core information serving as a communication core information copy is stored in the copy storage area. Memory access between the core storage area and the copy storage area is mutually switched according to the presence/absence of setting of the rewriting mode, and as a designated address of the communication program in the rewriting mode, an address in the copy storage area not in the rewriting mode is designated.
