PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking mechanism of a storage for storing and keeping an article of value or the like, wherein a simple and economical auxiliary lock mechanism raising reliability is realized, opening a door by a dishonest unlocking act is hindered, and security is enhanced. SOLUTION: The locking mechanism of the storage for storing and keeping an article of value or the like consisting of a closed structure of a box-like enclosure and having a lock mechanism 30 locking/unlocking the door 10 provided to one surface of the box-like enclosure (storage 1) in an openable manner by a predetermined operation, includes a lock mechanism 40 provided to the inside of the door 10 for locking the door 10 in the locking direction in response to an external action when the dishonest unlocking act is made to the lock mechanism 30 by the external operation.
