PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anchor excellent in strength, earthquake resistance, and durability, which can greatly reduce the execution time of reinforcing work of a concrete face or the like, and an attaching method of the reinforcing plate. SOLUTION: The anchor has a through hole in the axial center and constituted of an anchor body 1 formed of a screw part 4 and an embedding section 5 and a wedge section 2. A plurality of slits 7 are formed in the embedding section 5 and a plurality of steps 9 are formed along the peripheral direction on the outer peripheral face of the embedding section 5. A male screw is formed on the outer peripheral face of the screw part 4. In the attaching method of the reinforcing plate using the anchor, the reinforcing plate is put on the execution face, an execution hole is bored from above the reinforcing plate. The anchor is inserted in the hole from the front end and then, the rear end of the anchor body 1 is driven to widen the front end of the embedding section 5 by the wedge section 2 to fixedly press the front end onto the inner peripheral face of the execution hole. A nut is screwed onto the screw part 4 and a adhesive resin is filled from the rear end opening of the through hole simultaneously therewith or its before or after time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
