PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of imparting a mechanism for locking the closed state of a manhole opening part with a lid body to a manhole lid device by an easy work at a low cost. SOLUTION: The lid body 14 has a through-hole 36, and a nut member 42 having a female screw hole to be screwed with a bolt member 38 inserted to the through-hole 36 is housed and arranged in a recessed part 24 provided in a receiving frame 12. A first moving member 56 within the inner hole of a cylindrical fixing part 46 integrally formed with the nut member 42 is moved downward, and second moving members 60 and 60 within a horizontal hole 54 provided in the lower portion of the cylindrical fixing part 46 are partially protruded from the outside surface of the cylindrical fixing part 46, and engaged with the side wall of the recessed part 24, whereby the nut member 42 is fixed in the recessed part 24. In the state where the opening part of the manhole 25 is closed with the lid body 14, the bolt member 38 inserted to the through-hole of the lid body 14 is screwed to the female screw hole of the nut member 42.
